Should the Tigers be ranked ?

I think we'll be a top 20ish team all season , make the NCAA tournament and finish top 4 in the ACC.
I believe this with my heart. My brain knows how to defeat that thought , but I ignore it on days like today , when the caffeine flows in my veins and the sun is low.

Right now. we're not ranked and shouldn't be ranked.
The Underclassmen/Freshmen Team (the team that should be ranked is a top 10 program). The super senior team is top 40 at best.
take a hard look at the juniors on this team. they had only one good season out of three. they simply are not a ranked team.
10*.20+40*.8 = 34
Clemson is a rank 34 team

Even when people post on the correct board some can’t stop bashing football…
As to the OP, I think we are/will be a top 20 but voters and fans will be a bit hesitant given our history. Maybe if we win some by more than 3 it would help.
I think it will be a good, if not great, season.

That's my thought too. Boise State and Alabama are going to be the test. If we beat them (and don't lose to Alcorn St.) We should be in the top 25. Then December get interesting. Some tough games away from home. The team is better than they have played so far, yet they are still winning. Hopefully they are learning and will continue to win.

No. We shouldn't be ranked until we go 9-4.

Does rankings in basketball even matter? Figured you played to get the highest seed possible in the tournament was the only objective.
