Now that we are at the top of the college football world, the #1 goal, and really the only important one is to make the Playoffs and have a chance to win a National Championship. Sure there are other goals but being the National Champion is the top. We have a chance, to at least have a chance, if our defense can find enough healthy bodies to stop Ian Book and The Irish in two weeks.
Now that the race for the Heisman is over for Trevor, we all have to look at the stats and admit he has simply has not had the year that many other QB's have had. Having a Clemson Heisman winner one day would be great but that will never be the #1 goal and aren't we happy we can say that?
had Ross, Ngata, and Ladson for most/all of the season - seriously hurt his chances for better stats. And, of course, the games TL had to miss. But you're right - team goals are the more important in the big picture.
I honestly don't think we will ever have a Heisman winner because of the pure politics in college sports right now. All you have to do is look at the polls each week. Many SEC teams will always be ranked. Look at UGA's ranking. What a joke.
