As a CFB fan I can’t recall a more demoralizing loss than that. Wow. Hats off to auburn on a great game.

the only thing that equals it to me was the sweet sixteen loss to Connecticutt when Tate George dilated time in order to turn 8/10's of a second into roughly 3 seconds, knocking clemson out of an elite eight appearance in the process. I literally fell out of a chair when I saw it. I can still remember the haunted look in Elden Campbell's eyes at the end. the ncaa literally changed the freakin' rule about what could be done with how much time so that that would never happen again.

Most definitely. As a fan, 4th and 31 to seal the game AFTER the muffed punt, is something I wouldn’t wish on anyone but a coot

My only difference was Bama missed the game winning kick that game, still could have tied it to force an overtime. This was just seemingly impossible

I totally agree. Auburn played their hearts out and it was a great game to watch and sad for anyone to lose, but that’s why they are Alabama.
