Not that it would have mattered or maybe it would have, but I bet Potter doesn’t miss any of those if he was allowed to kick the first one to take the lead.

But instead we tried a low percentage fake on the first drive of the game in a major bowl.

It would’ve mattered. Wouldn’t have gone for it on 4th and 4 later. Would’ve been kicking. At least 12 points that we absolutely threw away. The 55 yarder should’ve never been attempted. That’s a punt situation. Just dumb on top of dumb. We still lose the game cause they were better but you’re at least in it.

Something was not right with h BT. His kickoffs were not touch backs like usual. Neither one of them.

It absolutely mattered. We left 18 points in the field (3 misses, the fake, before half, going on 4 and 2) and lost by 17. Easily could’ve won that game.
