Good list. Beating Md at their place 28-24 in 78 should be on mine because I was there, it was our first ACC Championship in 11 years, and helped us qualify for the first bowl in a number of years. It also was pone of the great back and forth football games I've seen in the pre overtime era.
I have wondered if we had tied back the would we have been co champs or what.

The 1978 game at Maryland should definitely be on the list. I also was at that game and to this day consider it one of the most exciting Clemson games that I have seen in person.

We were able to watch that 78 game at Maryland in Littlejohn and it was packed packed. Great game and great day for Dwight Clark.
Number 1 in person game will forever be the Championship against Nebraska in Miami. Impossible to pick in person games from the 60 years I went to games but a few stand out.
The 1st 2 Bowl games we went to in 77 and 78 in Jacksonville. Just awesome experiences.
The 81 win at Chapel Hill that set us up for the ACC and National Championship.
The Puntrooskie game because of the atmosphere and the legend of the game.
The 81 game against Georgia. Herschel still hasn't scored against us.
The 77 game at Chapel Hill that was a 13-13 tie and verified that we were a National Power.
Great memories all.

Too many to choose from. And I missed a lot when we lived in other parts of the country from the late 80s til the early 2000s before every game was available anywhere. But I’ll give it a shot.

I can't think of a single game I would change, except for the Puntruski game, I would put in the
Fuller to Butler game in Willie B instead..

I think the Louisville 2014 game was actually better. First time they had played in Death Valley and their coach said they had played in the dome in Syracuse and it couldn’t be any louder than that. We took it as a challenge and it was crazy loud at the start. Then the game came down to the very last play so it was that loud from start to finish. At the time, it was the loudest game I had been to in Death Valley.

5) FOURTH and 16, 2012 LSU Bowl game. The turning point in modern Clemson history.
4) 1988 FSU, the Punkroosky. Ripped our heart out, but it proved we could play with anybody.
3) 1981 Natty vs Nebraska - The Dream Season completed in style, the Tigers laid it all on the line that night and then some.
2) 2018 Season Natty vs Bama. We shocked the world, and Gobsmacked that cue ball with ears Paul Finebaum. We defeated what was hailed as the Best College Football Team Ever Assembled going into that game.
1) 2016 Natty vs Bama. Sweet revenge for the One That Got Away the previous year. Probably the greatest college football game of all time for a Natty. Late lead changes and final drive drama galore! 4 to 13 forever! "TOUCHDOWN! Hunter . Renfrow! Little man makes another ENORMOUS play!" That tv call from Chris Fowler will be etched in my brain forever, until the last brain cell dies.
