How many people do you think Dabo is really confiding in and seeking counsel from on the hire?
I personally can’t imagine it’s more than 3 or 4, counting miss Kathleen. I’m guessing Neff, Woody Mccorvey and one or two other people he really trusts. None of these people are gonna betray his trust just to be a big shot and be the man in the know. So I’m calling bull sheet on anyone who claims to have inside info.

Dabo already decided who his coordinator was the moment Wes was fired. He wouldn’t have made that move if he didn’t have someone already locked in. We just have to wait to find out

But if so; the reason we don't know would be because it's in the best interests of Clemson and the new coach to sit on the info. Same result; he's not running around the football offices telling everyone what the plan is.

Well I hope it's Symons from smu. He did great at Liberty. He fits our culture and we'd more than triple what he makes now.
Ties to our new fertile recruiting ground in Texas and mid-west. That's who I've wanted all along. Added bonus is he coaches safeties, something I feel like is one of the most important positions in defense.
That would allow him to hire someone like boulware to coach linebackers... someone with less experience like Grisham that would have tons of experience around him. Just my 2 pennies.

100% agree. I'm sure Mike Reeds looped in too. Personally think we need new blood in the room but Reed wouldn't hurt my feelings.
Always hoped it'd be Symons from smu. Wish we'd had hired Hadley from bc but that ship sailed years ago.
