Early Signing Period...maybe a distraction

Just a thought here, but does anyone else think maybe Dabo and company put too much emphasis on the early signing period instead of prepping for Bama? Sure, we racked up some great recruits, but it seems as if Dabo is in the minority in favoring the early signing period and might have put a week of focus and prep from Bama into recruiting. It is what it is, just curious as to other's thoughts on this. Still #ALLIN no matter what, GO TIGERS!!

worrying about what you might thing went wrong Coot. You might need to realize the truth.
In an off year , in which Clemson wasn't supposed to even win their division,much less their conference, they replace both top 2 WR's,their RB,Their QB ,their TE and still managed winning 12 games their division,their conference and a playoff appearance. Not bad.

The only difference between this December and last December in recruiting. Dabo's signing day press conference. That 45 minutes must have been the difference in the game.

What a nice distraction. That sort of distraction due to our signing a top crop of recruiyts should lead to renewed emphasis on the upcoming game. If there was no early signing period we could blame our loss on Dabo worrying if he were going to be able to sign those recruits in February. It's always good to have some excuses for losing a game on lay-away should the need arise. Remember the Boy Scout motto, "BE PREPARED" !!!!!

Good point...Most of those guys were already committed anyways, so that does make sense.

Holy Cow. I did it again. If my high school English teacher had seen that sentence she would have thrown the English book plus a copy of Gray's Anatomy at me. It's highly unlikely a team can lose a game on lay-away.
In my post above it should have read ---- "It's always good to have in lay-away some excuses for losing a game, should the need arise".
