It’s hard for me to believe things will get back to the Pre-Covid Clemson Football era until I see a team-voted and installed social media ban for the season.

I know they can’t/wont do that anymore because of NIL, but I can dream!

Seriously though, I actually do feel better about this season going into it than I have the last few.

They will never ban it again. This is the players avenue to advertise themselves for new NIL opportunities plus they use it to sponsor their current deals. Likely any true NIL deal that isn't a free handout and actually wants an investment return wants the player to be very active on SM and plug their product as often as possible.

I don’t see a need to ban NIL social media. The stuff I’ve seen is pretty generic promotion for a business. That doesn’t have to conflict with the team deciding to not contribute to personal posts beyond staying connected with their friends and family.
