We're Clemson. We CAN NOT develop QBs.
Point is: Put in the players that are READY to play. Cade is not. Pearlman deserves his shot.
Stop feeding the fan-base this bullschlit that "everyone competes" for the starting spot when it's glaringly obvious that this is not the case and that Cade is yet ANOTHER 5-star bust who most likely succeeded based on a support staff that he doesn't have at Clemson.

Trent Pearman is a 2nd year preferred walk on from Daniel High School and I believe he is the son of former tight end and current coach Danny Pearman . He was 24-0 as a starter at Daniel, won 2 state championships and was 2 time Gatorade Player of the Year for his division in SC . He reminds me a bit of Brock Purdy. Not overly athletic, but makes good decisions, is a very productive runner and is very accurate as a thrower. In last years Spring game , against our on vaunted Defense, he moved the ball consistently, looked very comfortable and consistent and was easily the MVP of that game . You can watch a quick recap of every one of his plays on You Tube. I did , and for the life of me I can’t figure out why he hasn’t been given meaningful snaps . IMO , he will probably get frustrated and transfer soon ….. and possibly become a star. 🤷🏻♂️

It might interest you to know that Christopher Vizzina is the second string QB and not Trent Pearman. Pearman is listed third on the depth chart.

It might interest you to know that Vizzina was a 4-star recruit who played like A s s in the spring game like Cade.
