But I don't like to see the Tigers defer after winning the toss. I like to see DW4 get off to a quick start.

The int to end the first half was really costly. In a situation such as that I would rather see the Tigers get the field goal and go into halftime especially since they were getting the ball to start the half I hate that jump ball play in the end zone

If you score in the last minute of the first half... Its like getting the ball back for free in the second half.

If we hadn't deferred and DW threw that pick right before half, the game could have been different because our drive to start the 2nd half turned the game in our favor

each half could get an extra possession. And each team would be getting the ball first in one half or the other. So it would even out.

management can help, but it's largely luck. For it to happen you need the last possession of each half.

to get the ball first after a time period that allows you to make adjustments. It takes luck and great clock management to gain that b2b possesions.

That defer had a huge impact on the game. We could have won if we didn't defer

Most coaches prefer to receive the kickoff to begin the 2nd half.

The last 5 minutes of the 2nd quarter and the first 5 minutes of the 3rd quarter are thought to be the most important of the game.
