You need to go to The Haufbraugh steak house downtown or Terry Blacks BBQ. Best steak and best beef rib in Austin

Four legislative sessions killing bad laws and schmoozing mostly decent lawmakers and staffers over bourbon, brisket, burgers, steak and tacos.

If I may weigh in:

Go to El Arroyo for Tex Mex.
Skip Hoffbrau. Head to Scholz's.
Avoid Terry Blacks and hit up Franklin.
Or drive over to Salt Lick in Dripping Springs.

Posse East for pub grub.
Or Dirty Martin's.

You'll thank me.
