Excellent Baseball Season!!

This team finished way ahead of where I thought we would be. I was hoping to be a 2 or 3 seed and just make the tournament. However, we won an ACC championship and are set to have a great year next year as we only lose Bertram from the starting lineup unless some leave early. Great season. Wait till next year.

I totally agree... I was hoping we would just get in a regional. Instead we won the ACC and were a nationaln seed. Unfortunately getting screwed by the umps last night put us behind the 8 ball today.

Losing a close game like that would drain any program having to get up for the next game. Some folks act like this is an NCAA video game where human elements should be for us to just railroad teams without issue.

I definitely view the season as a success -- at one point this board was just depressing to read regarding baseball and for us to rebound, win the ACC, and become a national seed was just a crazy experience.

Boys played hard to fight back to this point and I'm excited for the first time in years to see what next season looks like for Clemson baseball

mentality and chops of this new staff and our prospects ahead. I know Monte started off similar, with an ACC crown and regional hosting, but something just seems different about what this group, and its leadership, has brought to the program, how they've carried themselves, and how the players echo so much of this in their words, play, and outlook.

In any sport, only one team and fan base gets to end the season on a high note. That ain't us this time around, but feeling a lot better about what lies ahead for many seasons to come.
