Middlebrooks 2024

3

Mar 10, 2023, 7:16 AM

His improvement this season was huge and if he adds some muscle 10-15 pounds he will be a nice #5 guy and CBB can move PJ to the #3 or #4.

I hope RJ develops an outside shot as his outlook is bright.

Need to bring in another Brevin or a scoring small forward.

Hemenway can come back for his extra Covid year (hopefully) and his shot is so smooth.

Wiggins can be the scoring small forward

I'm afraid Wiggins may transfer, no more than he played.

I hope not...he has potential!

If any player tranfers, it will be Beadle. I can see little Hunter taking over the 1 spot and moving big brother to the 2. As Wiggins continues to develop, he will be a matchup nightmare for teams with his skillset. Brownell will bring in another portal pickup to replace Galloway's scholarship and plus the addition of Thomas, the signee for this year. Alot of nice pieces in place going forward. We have yet to see what the other Chancey will bring to the team. He is another wildcard, that will provide great length at the guard spot

I like Beadle, but he is a little too loose with the ball. He makes some really good passes but he has too many turnovers. You can see Brad get frustrated with his turnovers sometimes. I want to keep both of them, but if I had to choose between him and Wiggins, I would rather keep Wiggins.

I really like Beadle too, but I am afraid his playing time will be little to none if he doesn't value the basketball as you say. Not sure Clemson has ever had a player with Wiggins skillser. He handles it well for a 6'11" guys and his shot will continue to develop. He has huge upside, plus when he tops the 1 2 2 zone, he makes it extremely difficult because he is active!.

Wiggins can shoot for a big guy but he needs to put on lbs.***

even under the basket isnt a gimme for him right now. He's got good hustle though. But Shiefelin and Tyson have improved a lot so I'm sure he will too.

Yeah he works really hard and plays good D but

Theres a huge gap between his offensive skills and PJs. Within 10 feet, Hall is deadly. Middlebrooks isn’t at this point. Hope he continues to progress.

Patience, patience, patience! If Middlebrooks improves as much from his Sophomore to Junior year as he did from his Freshman to Sophomore year what a duo we will have at the center position. Do you realize that our center position totaled 23 points and 7 rebounds last night? Middlebrooks played 22 minutes while Hall played only 18 minutes and we won by 26 points. Yes, Hall was in foul trouble. I will take that production every day of the week!!

If Schieffelin

continues to improve like he has the past few games then he can be a huge asset for us!
