player has committed to South Carolina for next year. Logic would say that she chose SC for one of two reasons…wanted to be able to potentially win a national championship, or they offered the most money. Before I go any further let me say I am not criticizing SC, I wish we could have gotten her. What I am curious about is whether or not SC has more NIL money than most schools. Bottom line is, though her reason might be that she wanted to go win a championship, if not, it would be for the money. If so, SC would have had to be the top bidder more than LSU, Tenn, Texas, etc.
Again. I hate it that she picked SC. Just trying to understand why.

Southeastern, you have no clue how either an Athletic Department or NIL works. Every sport does not have its own bank account but at any school, football is the daddy and pays the bills. At schools like U Conn and South Carolina, for example, the athletes that earn the most through NIL are likely women's basketball players. Those NIL earners and their teams bring in mega bucks from ticket sales for their sold out games, concessions and of course tv money.

She won't score as much in the SEC. While she is a good player, her numbers will come down because of competition in my opinion.
