I say give Reed a shot at DC. Looking at his resume as a player and coach he has worked with some pretty good defensive minds. Dom Capers, Jim Johnson, current KC Chiefs DC Stevd Spagnola and years with Venables. I am sure he has learned something from these guys. His work as CB coach speaks for itself. Great recruiter!!! Why Not????

I think the CW TV guys said Dabo talked about having 25 former players on staff during their Friday prep meeting. If that’s true, I’d say that’s getting a bit excessive. No problem giving them a first shot as a grad assistant or perhaps analyst if they gained experience elsewhere, but to have so many sticking around getting promoted internally is not ideal for the program or their individual careers. They should be spreading out gaining experience from other programs and levels of football to learn what can’t be learned at Clemson.
