If healthy and plays full season how many sacks we thinking XT gets?

He will be north of 10. Only issue I see is teams double blocking him knowing we are not as strong on the other side. Not saying JM isn't capable and isn't good just not at the XT level when healthy.

If we are getting could push up the middle they can’t really double ends. Just chip with running back. Our success will rely on our DT’s which we have some good ones. We need some younger ones to step up so we can stay fresh!

With his athleticism, I would think so. I can see him in a hybrid role like we saw Wilkins in.

Ya I’m with you I think XT is over 10 if healthy . Mascoll is serviceable and I hope he is ready to breakout but if not I want be shocked to see Peter Woods at DE and TJ parker help out a lot on his side if he isn’t making the most of his opportunities (Mascoll)

I think it could easily be north of 10. If it is not, then we will see a lot of sacks by interior linemen. I just posted this on another thread:
“Really hope XT can stay healthy this year. At 246 pounds he should be unstoppable. Line him up next to TD or Ruke and let the offense pick their poison.”
Someone is getting through in that situation.

You ain’t lying we are in a good situation . We got so many guys who can produce. As far as XT if he can get 2 sacks against BC in 6 snaps then who knows what he may do a full healthy season!! Too pumped

With his explosiveness he could easily average 1.5 sacks a game.
Also, with our strength and depth on the interior line, no one be able to double team him without serious consequences
The only question i have is, can be disciplined setting the edge.
We all know he can beat his guy in on obvious passing downs, but can he play the run/counter/RPO without over pursuing?
I think he will, but that will determine the type of season we have on defense. If he can do that, we will be a top 10 and he will go in the first round. (In my humble opinion)

He and KJ Henry arrived with great expectations. Last year KJ turned the corner and poured it on.
I'm hoping this year XT will do the same.
Yes , Woods can play at DE and I expect we might get a healthy dose of BC coming off the edge as well.

If he’s healthy I’d bet he will break the all time sack record without even knowing what the sack record is a lot of people forget how good XT is and he’s in better shape then I’ve ever seen him
