He caught Covid again? His health has been great. No.mention of injuries all week. I've read that those that catch it a 2nd time have mild symptoms but do show a positive test. This really sucks!

Well here we go, the one player that made a huge difference in the second half of the last game. Instead of just missing the 1st half in the last game, he will be out for the entire game this time around. I can not remember the last time that a Dabo led team has had so many key players out during a season of FB. It's past time that some steps up to give us that extra that we need to get in and stay in Book's face all game. If not, this game will go down to the wire just as the last one did. And our last series with several minutes left in the game, that series still gives me terrible thoughts bc, that was our game with just one 1st down that would have allowed our team to run the clock out, it didn't happen, and ND scored the TD that sent that game into OT, the rest is just bad history!!!

Agreed!
KJ has not yet - in my mind - even shown flashes of that 5 star player. A good solid player; yes! But, to have been a 5 star that did a RS year to boot. He has not had those splash plays that make you go - "yep, he's up next"!
We need him to step up with no XT and no Justin Foster! Speed on the field is what we need and some power.

Bummer. Losing XT thins out the DL rotation, but good to see most everyone else we need out there.
I’d love to see KJ have a signature play in this game. He just seems to be one step away. Maybe next year he makes the leap, but I’d love to see him finish strong down the stretch and lock down the other starting DE job for good.
The push up the middle that TD brings and his ability to chase down Book fleeing the pocket was sorely needed in the first game. I still liked our DL rotation and if they can get a good push with 4, then Venebles can unleash holy hell with whatever he has schemed up for today.
