WR depth chart

So what's going to happen this week?
Tyler Brown has clearly earned a starting spot in the WR lineup
He's currently listed behind Antonio Williams at slot
I think they have got to play Collins, Williams and Brown, right?
Who stays at slot and who moves to the boundary?

So what do you think is going to happen when Williams comes back?
Where do Collins, Williams and Brown line up?
Do you think they move Williams to the boundary?

I think we see more 4 WR sets. Make some space. Get the best pass catchers on the field.

Down side to that is that we lose a blocker

and both of our backs have been pretty bad in pass pro. Might be OK if Cade consistently gets the ball out quickly.

Quick tangent on RB blocking….
I have noticed we get much better RB blocking out of the 2 back set
I'm not sure how much RPO we are doing, but it looks like when our backs know they are blocking and aren't taking play action or “meshing”, they are pretty good blocking - especially mafah

True, but I think that's more dictated by the defense we see and how many guys they bring around the box
Also limits the 2 back sets and TE involvement

Tyler Brown is our best receiver.

And it doesn't seem to be close.
He needs to start. Period.

And it's not just the plays we see him catch the ball
He's doing a bunch of good stuff without the ball which has been my main gripe about the the other guys
Dabo actually praised him for that in his Sunday conference. Blocking, route running, etc.
I wouldn't mind seeing Williams, Stellato and Brown out there.
Collins just takes to many plays off but it's hard to replace his size

Play the best regardless of WR position

if that's 3 "slot" guys, then so be it.
Brown is legit and by far our best WR.

I am confident that no matter who starts, coaches will find

a way to have both Brown and Williams on the field as much as possible. If both are 100%, I can't imagine a scenario where either sees extremely limited action in favor of the other; coaches know both are too good for either to sit on the bench.

If I was selecting the starting lineup at this moment it would be
1) Collins 2) Stellato 3) Williams
With packages and 4 wide spreads to get Brown in the game. Brown can start now but Williams hasn’t done anything to lose his starting spot. They’re both very similar players. Love the fire and energy I see from Stellato.
Still puzzled about Randall. It’s like he’s just there. I don’t see much effort to go for the ball either. It’s a head scratcher for me. He looks like he could be Calvin Johnson 2.0 but he has to come out of his shell.

They play on the same side of the field no matter where the ball is spotted.

Stellato is now repping at 9-man. Move Beaux over to the 9 and let them split reps. Tyler Brown could move to the 2 while Antonio Williams remains at the 5.

I dont think it matters who is a starter, we are going to rotate receivers throughout the game. I think its fortunate that we have more than 2 guys that can make plays and produce.

These are the ones making plays along with Stellato. Can’t trust the others to get open and catch the ball

This isn't going to be popular, but Adam Randall shouldn't be starting, and I'm not sure Beau should either. Brown, Williams/Stellato, and then somebody not named those guys. In that order. Brown is proof experience means nothing when it isn't great experience. Collins is a #2-#3 guy at best on a playoff team. Randall is just winning beauty contests and that's it.
