Wow...Columbia sportstalk radio talking about Watson's
Dec 1, 2014, 2:53 PM

knee like they are trying to save his life from the evil Clemson football machine. Apparently, it's providing an outlet for their frustration, much like blaming the refs might have if they hadn't gotten every single call the whole game.
Just like with politics, those coots have a narrative about Dabo and Clemson that they are fitting this situation into. Didn't help that the chicken doctor that does orthopoedic stuff said on the radio this morning that it put Watson at further risk, which is the opposite of what I had heard.
Probably best to ignore their sour grapes masked as compassion, but it may be necessary to get out in front of this thing with some medical expertise...especially if they plan on delaying surgury for the bowl game.

Playing football puts every player that gets on the field at risk. Since DW was obviously at injured in a football game the statement that he was at further risk is truism.
Likewise, any player who is playing in his second play is at further risk and it too is a truism.
All players are at further risk if they have played on down of football in their lives.
Henceforth, any truism the doctor states puts him at further risk of continuing to be captain obvious.

Football is a rough sport...It's not tennis.
Every time a player steps on the field it puts them at further risk for injury. If they don't want to risk getting hurt---don't play the sport.
Like I posted earlier...John Elway & Hines Ward tore their ACL's in HS and never repaired them...
Thurman Thomas tore his in his junior year at Oklahoma St and never repaired it.
I'm sure there are countless other athletes who have done the same.

Hines Ward tore his in 4th grade. He legitimately played a full high school, college and NFL career, missing 8 total games due to injury over the span of 22 seasons of football.

They said it's different with pro players b/c they get paid, and it's their job. And college players get nothing. They didn't actually say they get nothing but made it sound as if that was the case.

They are just trying to cause enough of an uproar about it so it turns into National news. Anything to take the topic off the beat down that was handed to them. Its pretty sad that they are complaining about that, when the reality of it is...they are cutting down themselves for not being able to beat a QB on 1 leg. They have a medical condition of serious butt hurt right now, it'll pass.

I was wondering if I was the only one that heard them. For over 2 and a half hours starting it at 11:30 am they began a slaughter Dabo campaign non stop when I got out the car at 2:00pm. What they are doing, they are trying to hurt our recruiting. I heard some calling in talking about calling kids parents and warning them about Dabo cared nothing for their kids. That winning a game was more important than risking kid future with career ending injuries. And the radio host was agreeing with their their own touch of what a doctor had told them. It was the worst attack on Dabo that I've heard from them since he's been the head coach. They were even saying that with our defense alone we could have beat them easily this year with Cole just handing the ball off. They are butt A$S hurt over the beating they got embarrassed with Saturday. And this is after all year of saying our D hasn't faced an SEC offensive line like theirs. If I was Dabo, I would call a presser and expose what they are doing at 107.5 the game. With the way they were beating Dabo absolutely down over DW playing, what they are saying could possibly cause us to lose a recruit if they have medically uneducated parents that they have scared to death over lies intent to cause harm.

Said I'm not a doctor, and the 5,000 people on Twitter that just got their medical degrees need to back off. That DW was a grown man and he, the doctors, and his family likely made the decision. This is a paraphrase, but that was the basics.

What else is there for them to talk about. Sure as HE!! isn't their football team. They are butthurt and looks like gonna be butthurt for years to come. They are in trouble next year, losing all of their firepower. They better hope they have some freshmen coming in that can help.

Yes and one old lady/biddy came on and said that she was a usuc grad, and her daughter was a Clemson grad with top honors in engineering. And that DW has the very same injury that Marcus had, and yep, the host agreed with that statement also.

That radio station use to be an old rock music station. That is what I was actually looking for b/c I had saw on the late show that Bob Seger, and Deep Purple had came out with new Albums. I wanted to see if I could catch some of their new music to see how they had aged b/c in my young Rock and Roll days many years ago, those were some of my favorites. I found 107.5 that years ago was a old Rock station. I found that they wer no longer a rock station, but were a coot radio sports talk that was ripping Dabo to shreds. The more I listen, the madder I got and the higher my blood pressure got, and I don't have high blood pressure. I had it a couple hours ago b/c my face felt like it was on fire that started a pounding head ache. If I would have had there phone number, I'm sure I would probably be on my way to Richland county or Lexington county jail. 99.99% of the time, I never let what they say affect me in anyway b/c I know who and what they are. But when I heard the things they were saying with full direct intentions to actually do harm to Dabo and Clemson, I got smoking hot and off the chain pissed off. To me, they were taking a rivalry FB game to an all new and lowest of low levels. And I was seriously losing all control of my sanity. I do know that they have pushed my serious dislike for them to hatred. And I really try not to hate anybody. The last sub human person I actually hated got his head turned to mush by a Navy Seal with a M4 close range assault riffle. And now my truly hated Osama Bin Laden isn't with the living

Ok so what I took from this is.. The chickenz are talking about our true freshman, chikenz killer,qb who dominated their #####. And he has 2 to 3 more years to continue to kick their tail feathers from one end of the state to the next. They are scared looking into that bleak future where they stand no chance of defeating our phenom DW and his incredible supporting cast which is just loading up more. Yeah I can live with that.
