Wow. Just wow. Apparently we are worried about the 3-9 coots

According to a very smart and extremely rational coot.......
"All mattbat does is legitimize the fact that the taters are worried. And rightly so. They are deep on OL, we are deep on DL. We are deeper at QB, albeit unproven. Young with unlimited ceilings. They play their best QB ever with a torn ligament. If that doesn't bother them, the fact their backup missed meaningful snaps will tighten those sheep sphincters that much more. Once more, our OL will determine our altitude"
Does it get any more hilarious than this? I don't know how it could. Who could be worried about a team that lost to a fcs team? They might be our 8th toughest game next year, and thats generous. This reject said the coots have a "deep d-line". The same d line that has been pushed around for theast two years and has sacked the qb maybe 20 times.
Then the whole we are deeper at qb comment. I guess he forgot we have higher rated qb's across the board, have higher rated qb's coming in next year, and are in the mix for the #1 overall player for 2018 that happens to be a qb. Plus we just happen to have a qb that's the best player in all of college football.
The season is almost here, and the coot morons are out in full force. I love it.

What's worse us supposedly playing watson with a torn ACL that couldn't get worse OR getting beat by a guy with a torn ACL, while allowing him to rush for a TD with one knee?

Coots already know this year is gonna be terrible. They're just trying to push a little propaganda to get people thinking Bewn is doing something.

They are deeper at the QB position ? That is a statement I would firmly refute .

They're still suffering from winning fan syndrome. It's when
Jul 21, 2016, 6:31 PM
|

your team all of a sudden goes on a winning streak of unprecedented proportions thus your knowledge and expertise in all things related to your sport are at an exponentially higher level than ever before.
As an example, "This game is won in the trenches, and we own the trenches," is a common refrain when you are winning games you used to lose, and you see that your players are bigger and faster now, and all of the local sports people talk about how well your team is doing in the "trenches". Fans remember terms and vocabulary much better when their team is winning.
Another common phrase you will hear is "you win the game in the 4th quarter." This phrase is especially indicative of the syndrome as it is uttered by people who, until said winning streak began, would have left at half time to go try banging chicks behind their SUVs at their tailgate spots, and had never actually witnessed a 4th quarter first hand.
The darker side of this malady is total blindness to the reality at hand. It is what leads to statements that your subject throws forth involving matters of depth and talent on a roster that, when playing The Citadel in real life, is a dog at home. It's not that this fan is lying or stupid, it's that they are lost still in the euphoric glow of 5th place rings and "the hit", unaware of the stockpile of annual non-qualifiers and defections, and the subsequent accumulation of what's left from the uncommitted elsewhere.
Sadly, there is no cure. Just a quiet fade back onto the sidelines.

Guys, I wouldn't even know where to begin. There is so much fail in this, it's ridiculous. I wonder if others chimed in and agreed? Probably.

It's too insane to even waste the energy. Thank god I don't have to see or speak to cocklovers everyday.

He is an outlier. I talk to two coots on a regular basis. both gave me fits during the "streak". They have been very quiet of late, and have little hope for this year's team.

I live in NECola. and trust me matters are such that USuck fans I know aren't even mentioning football! The knowledgeable ones are totally quiet because they have zero trust in "Boom's" ability to restore a program which Holtz and OBC could not sustain.
This is where chicken fans mentally have no fallback! They long for continued strong success in any sport! This is why they adore Women's BB! Their avid fan cannot stand to acknowledge that despite 5-0 Dabo has clearly created a program of immense long-term success! By his retirement CDS will have long left USuck in his dust and their fans hate the thought!
"The best is still to come," makes chicken fans go crazy with envy and recognition Clemson's run of winning campaigns and championships is simply getting started. Their window has seemingly closed, especially in football. I firmly believe Dabo and staff will win 10 plus games a season for the next decade and beyond and unless USuck can hire a proven young coach they will spend an eternity playing catch-up in the SEC and in the rivalry games.
Go Tigers!

Those dumb chickens might talk boldly on message boards, but in real life, coots keep quiet about football. Their little beaks quiver at the thought of FB season approaching. Their heads hang in shame, and if they speak about FB at all, then it's that they have no chance. I've heard it straight from some large coot supporters, and it's almost sad to see the doom and gloom in a grown man's face. Their time has come - and GONE. The devil owns their collective souls and they have nothing left to offer him. They will live out their lives knowing that there will never be any hope for them.
But wait...there is always Alabama...coots have hope now...buy Bama gear and wave the SEZ flags proudly.
