I just got an email invoice for a bunch of crushed rock from someone in Australia. Same first initial and last name, obviously a different person.

Being the nice guy I am, I replied and said "wrong email address".

She (the sender) replies:

"Hi IU

Is this Invoice not yours, as I see you have received the email? Do you have a corrected email address?

Wendy"

And gets used by people all over the place. I've been included in Texas oil contracts, bull s3men invoices, apartment leases -- everything. I finally got to where it was a game to respond. It's led to some funny interactions, including one year where some supervisor from a vet in vermont kept copying me on staff announcement, so I'd reply with fat cat .gifs. I became a legend among the staff and ended up sending them a box of popcorn for their holiday shift.

It keeps me happy.
