Lol. It would be after season. They will have an interm coach since season so close
Think they will go after a huge name.

Brad has been at Clemson so long that he isn't going anywhere unless he was fired. And with as much money as he's made at Clemson, if he was fired, he would probably ask Neff to allow him to resign and he would make a permanent home at Clemson bc once folks have lived in Clemson for a few years, they just don't want to leave especially if they are still raising their kids!!!

Agree. But I will say, Brad takes us on another deep run, they really might gauge the interest. Which I think we will definitely be in the dance. Not shocked if we're a 4 or 5 seed. Very well respected in the coaching world.
But I agree, I don't think Brad's leaving and will probably get a raise and new contract.

He is having a press conference at 11am tomorrow. Hope it's not for a health reason.

It has to be a health issue, or a scandal.

You remember when Dean Smith retired? Allowed him to have his guy take over. I think Roy Williams handled it similarly. Not trying to damage program - he knows what’s best for his kids right now.

Probably so. But I'll definitely pray it's nothing serious. He's one of the good ones. Maybe the interim assistant has a deep run and they keep him.

Hate to see that. Bennet has always been a class act and did a great job for UVa.

It was just reported that was not for health reasons. He probably was just tired of NIL$. Something that just happened that said no more....

My guess is he wants to develop people; not be a budget guy who has to deal with a-holes. Hmmm sounds like Dabo. But suppose a new league was created that that allowed scholarships but no NO NIL. NO PORTAL. NO IMMEDIATE XFER. That leagues teams might not be as strong but it would be true college athletics. And I would rather watch that than this semi-pro b/s. Please someone get this ball rolling.

He can develop people at a D2 or D3 school without having to spend much time worrying about NIL or the portal, but he won't make $4 million/year or get to be on ESPN.
