27 game win streak vs unranked teams...

Dec 11, 2014, 4:30 PM

on the line against OK....oddly as that sounds. Hopefully we can keep it alive, they are probably the toughest unranked opponent during this stretch.

They've got a lot of injuries I heard. That helps us

ALso our D will keep us in any game provided the offense doesn't put them in continual bad positions

Yeah they are in a similar situation with a not so great backup QB, plus their star RB sprained his ankle last weekend. He probably won't be 100% even if he plays, it should be interesting, but I think our D is good enough to win this game for us if we just take of the ball on offense.

Not sure if they will keep Perine, their QB and their WR out

If those guys were all out, it could be a 16-10 type game.

Are we only going off the playoff poll? They are ranked #24 in the coaches poll. I read on another thread, if we win since they are ranked in the coaches poll, we would get a new tombstone.

Would be big regardless. Big time program and anyone

That doesn't think that after Mccaron was sacked in that game more than all yr is out of touch.

Well our O-line was sensational against the Dirtpeckers ...and our running game was formidable because of it. If we can repeat that performance facet then our chances to win go sky high.
We are superior to them defensively , but we need our offense to grind it out a bit.

Our o-line was serviceable in the Carolina game at best. Carolina's d-line and linebacker corps this year was a major drop off from what they were the previous 5 years. Thats why we were able to run the ball like we did. Also, our quarterback didn't #### his pants every time he saw a Carolina jersey within 5 yards of him, so the play calling was a bit more effective.
I agree with our defense being better than Oklahoma's, but without Watson at QB, we're limited to screens and outs. They see that stuff all the time in the Big 12
