Bammer has 47 Under-Armor players to TiGs 9 during 9 years!

Jan 5, 2016, 10:45 AM

Saying..BAMA has recruited & signed 47 Under-Armor players during the 9 years of the U-A games..while Clemson has signed just 9.

But, that 9 is more than the two other teams (OK & MichST) in the NC Playoffs..Combined!

GeeZ..no wonder their fans say they could beat some of the NFL teams.

But, the TiGERS have enough studs to Gut eR Done!

and have made a significant impact for their team. Just curious how their best draft picks over the run of 2008-2015 are doing in the NFL. i would assume very well?

Only skill players I can think of that have done anything above average are Eddie Lacy and Amari Cooper who are both outstanding. And Julio Jones. Trent Richardson was a complete bust, Mark Ingram has been only decent. I guess their 2 WRs are about equal to Nuk and Sammy. Some good OL, DL, LB, and DB in the league.

Seems low as we had like seven from Bowers' year - right? Parker, Harper, Ellington, Allen...who else? I do recall a safety who didn't pan out.

stats

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I just looked at the rosters...we had 9 on the first year

Jan 5, 2016, 1:40 PM

the UA game existed - 2008. We have had 22 total not including the game this past weekend. Now, we have only had 9 in the last 4 or 5 years, so maybe that was what the stat was?
