Womens basketball has it

Right with natty game times. Final 4 was also at reasonable times. Natty today at 3. Men’s tip-off at 9:20. Sunday afternoon vs late Monday night. Women’s basketball has been putting up massive viewership as well because of who has been playing. Good for them for getting it right for college sports which should be a weekend championship.

They don't expect an audience for the women's game, so Sunday afternoon during dead time is fine.

Men's game will have a national audience.

They are trying to hit the best time for both coasts and it's a work day so they need evening hours for both.

Here's the full text of that tweet, so you don't have to click to read the rest of it:

At 14.2 million viewers, last night's Iowa-UConn game averaged more viewers than:

• Any women's CBB game ever
• Every 2023 NBA Finals game
• Every 2023 World Series game
• The 2023 Orange Bowl
• The 2023 Big Ten Championship
• The 2023 Cotton Bowl
• The 2023 Pac-12 Championship
• The 2023 Big-12 Championship
• The 2023 ACC Championship
• The 2023 Peach Bowl
• The 2023 Masters Final Round
• The 2023 Daytona 500
• The 2023 Indianapolis 500
• Every tennis grand slam final (men's & women's)
• Every 2023 CFB regular season game except one

Even crazier, there is a legitimate chance that this year's women's national championship game draws more viewers than the men's.

That's incredible.

What it really proves is that the only superstar in college basketball for either gender is Caitlin Clark.

How many viewers did the men’s final four semifinals get last night?

I don't think those numbers have been released yet, but the most-watched game of this year's men's tournament before last night was NC State - Duke, which averaged 15.1 million viewers. Last year's men's title game between UConn and San Diego State averaged 14.7 million.

I will say it once and say it again no reason for Monday games weather it be in College Football or College Basketball they should be on Saturday when just about every one is off and no later than 8:15
start. Monday night football games in College football should be done away with no matter National Championship game or Labor day night games

And I have a sleep clock of an old man and I work the next day as well. I may see tipoff but I’m usually in bed by 9:30.

Real men and women have to work the next day like construction workers, police officers, firemen, teachers, plumbers, small business owners it is ridiculous to put a game at 9:20. these fake workers the media and media ceo have no idea

A 9:20 tipoff is going to end roughly the same time as Monday Night Football does about 15-16 times a year.

Obviously some people enjoy it. I’ve tried, I just can’t get into women’s sports. I’m glad they have them so that ladies can compete against each other, I just don’t enjoy them. Unless it’s beach volleyball) 😝
