Bummer!
I like who we have behind him.
Knowing Dabo has been active in the portal now means, perhaps we backfill this roster spot with high-level talent.
We will miss Mukuba for certain. Injuries changed his game after that Freshman season; but he is a dynamic player. And will be missed.

If you like your competitive depth at his position; but do not like it at others. Him leaving opens up a scholarship so you can utilize the portal at that position.

You can't expect guys to hang around for their final year and be "part" of the rotation.
Just my opinion, but wouldn't surprise me to see a rising senior DT or 2 leave because of the same scenario. Again, hope they stay, always hope they all stay .

Love the intensity and leadership Venables brings to the secondary, but in no way is he starting over Makuba. What have you been smoking?

Sorry to see him and Beaux go into portal. Probably looking for money Dabo was not willing to pay. I can understand all the others reason so far. But, two starters going to be seniors. Got to be a money thing. Oh well, that is the state of affairs the NCAA has allowed.

Makuba had a great year. We’ve lost 4 DBs now. Just a sign of the times.
Really thrilled with our youth but no denying this hurts our depth and overall talent.

Honestly not surprising he's flirted with the portal every off-season. Wish him the best he was a very good player when healthy.
