People moan and complain at Dabo for not being honest about the football team and here is a coach who is just stating facts, not being negative, just honest.
There aren’t 85 players on a basketball team so every player is more crucial to the teams success rate. Why is that so challenging to understand?
I realize he could cure cancer and win a national title in the same year and you wouldn’t like him but it’s dumbfounding that you make this kind of comment over BB being straightforward.

You all remember we play in the ACC right? We don’t get McDonald’s All American preps. We’ve never won the conference. Recruiting compared to Duke, UNC, Virginia, Syracuse and Louisville is like eating out of a dumpster. We finished the regular season last year seeded 4th. We didn’t finish great but overall it should be considered a huge success. UNC turned down the NIT and we should have too after beating NCSU THREE times and then snubbed for the NCAA tourney.
Some are talking about winning a natty being a benchmark for BB to be worth his salary. Sheesh. I’m sure High Point and Winthrop fans hate their coach because they haven’t won one either.

Natty? That's hardly how I measure CBB's failures.
Two words: Morehead State.
Heck, I'd be pretty happy if CBB would just STOP LOSING GAMES TO NET 250+ teams, like he did 3 or 4 times last year.

Who were the 3-4 teams that had a 250+ net last year? It blows my mind that the uneducated haters have to exaggerate and lie to make brownell look worse than they believe he already is.
Also lets not act like it's a frequent thing that he loses to "250+ rpi and net teams". Last year was an extreme outlier.

The breaks really have to fall your way if you’re going to expect to make the NIT. You’re going to have to be lucky with injuries and a few lucky calls from the refs, but you can’t count on coaching, recruiting and athletic skills to be guaranteed a spot in the NIT.
