Athletes living in Olympic style villages that are gated off from the regular students, where they will take classes, train, and sleep. I feel like this already exist to a certain point but with the millions some of these guys are making they will need security to protect them, kinda kidding but this seems like the future of college athletics. Can’t have them around us commoners.

I mean Lightsey is already that lol. When you compare the regular student apartments in Lightsey to what the athletes get it's comical that you can even call them the same "community." Not complaining, because they deserve some solid amenities, but still...

The football team basically lives at the facility and doesn’t realy interact with the student body.
It’s true of the other sports too. They spend so much time at their fancy palace facility, they really only interact with each other and some other student athletes.

It was bad enough before, but now it is just insulting. Just make them minor league teams. If some want to attend class, let them. But to pretend this is anything but minor league football is insulting.

I believe its basically already there. D Sanders already said that he didn't think Hunter, Shiloh nor Sheduer ever stepped foot on the Colorado campus. Sanders said they either did their classes online at home or at the facility. Saw a video of those three player's home and they had rented like a $3mil house obviously off-campus somewhere. Hunter moved out to another $1mil house when he got serious with his gf. So Shiloh and Sheduer shared a $3mil house this past season. Crazy times!
