surpassing the 15-0 records of Clemson, LSU, UGA, and Michigan, Clemson of course being the first to do it?

It will not be possible to go 17-0 unless one of the mid major conference champs is 13-0 and doesn't get a bye and wins 4 games in the playoffs. That would be awesome. I'd like to see Boise State do it.

Agreed they cannot help they play in the Big Ten conference and they have a perennial weak conference. There is no team that has not looked beatable this year. Their win over Ohio State is not that impressive when you view Ohio States struggle with lower tier B10 teams
