As stacked as this Clemson offense is. Cade will be surrounded by the best receivers. A solid OL and promising RB. The ceiling in which Cade could succeed at is through the roof. With that said will Cade win the heisman this season?

His chances are somewhere between slim and none based on history, bias and the silly voting rules. Most of us have learned to accept this and move on as the award has lost much of its luster IMO.

No. If it was based on cumulative accomplishments, his senior season might be enough to place him at the top. But, somebody will have an unbelievable season (one season) that will overshadow Cade's career at Clemson.
Look at recent history. Some kid you've never heard of transfers to a big school...throws the daylights out of the ball...and gets all of the Sportscenter attention. It's not about consistency anymore. It's about highlights.

Will he be worthy. probably, but if we couldn't win one with TLaw or DW4 we won't ever get one. DW4 was robbed not once, but twice. TLaw should have won at least one. I am not getting my hopes up.

If those two couldn't get the Heisman in their NC seasons, that tells that Clemson isn't a school where they look for their favorite players to hand that award over to!!!
If I were Cade Klubnik, I would want the Davey O'Brien award, it still has meaning!!!

I honestly believe that if we had a QB that broke every record that a college QB could break, he still wouldn't be awarded the Heisman. CJ Spiller broke tons of RB records as an all-purpose RB and he couldn't get it, he barely got an invite, and he was almost left out!!!

He has a good chance. He has the talent and should have good receivers and an improved Oline. How will our RB's develop especially their ability to pass block and protect Cade? Hopefully he has learned from some bad decisions at critical points of games like the usc game last year and Miami the year before.

If Cade has a solid season I'd say NO as Dabo will pull him early in the 3rd to rest and protect him from injury while allowing his future QB's to gain some playing time. If he has success, he will put up big numbers but they likely won't match those put up by QB's from other schools who are left in games to create blowouts. It seems this has been Dabo's style and I can't fault him for it.

I'd say he will have a better chance than most, simply because we do not have many cupcake games and his stats will be off the chart with the weapons we have (must win of course). TL and DW would get pulled in the 3rd quarter of half of their games because of blow outs.

A Clemson player will never be awarded the Heisman, it's not going to happen even if our FB team had an all-world player. They even hate to mention that, John Heisman even coached at Clemson!!! I mean what could be more appealing than a player winning at a school that John Heisman coached at Clemson.
This is John Heison record as the HC at Clemson ( His record at Clemson from 1900 through 1903 was 19-3-2 record. On November 29, 1900, Clemson defeated Alabama 35-0, giving Heisman's first team an undefeated 6-0 record. It was the only team to win all of its games in a season until the 1948 squad went 11-0.)
IMO Clemson has more than deserved a Heisman award winner when we had a legit Heisman player as was CJ Spiller, DW4, and Trevor Lawrence!!!

He needs to increase his completion percentage (2024-63.4%) by a good amount to be in New York to win. You are looking for a stat profile something like 70% completion, 3800 yards, 50Tds, <6 INTS needed to win. Deshaun had too many INTs (17) and Trevor missed too many games in 2020 (3) to get high enough stats to win. Even with those faults they would have won over Jayden Daniels, Caleb Williams, and Bryce Young so some if it does come down to the best someone else has this year.
Still think if he can finish with those stats above, which should only take 6 more completions and 60 yards per game, AND does not have a 1 or fewer TD performance (Excld. rushing) like he did against Georgia, Louisville, and South Carolina he will win.

Trevor Lawrence and DW4 didn't win it, so I just wonder what would make someone think that Cade Klubnik could win it bc he isn't close to having the elite talent that Trevor and DW4 had and not get close to the winning the Heisman... The Heisman is a favoritisms award, Cade may be a favorite of the favoritism voters, who knows!!!

Unfortunately, Cade would need the D to play poorly and Clemson still win most of them in high scoring affairs. I dont see that happening. D will be improved and Dabo doesn't run it up.
I'd put better odds on a national championship.

Isn't this kinda like predicting the time and location of the next meteor strike on Clemson campus? We would have better odds at picking us to national champs which are at least 1 out of 12 if we win the ACC. I'll take those odds as I believe they are far better than that.
