Will ACCN cause more Clemson vs. Underling games to be scheduled at night?

I’m assuming ACCN wants to save their headliner team for prime time, so doesn’t that mean we should expect more night scheduling ie this weekend vs. Charlotte? Seems like any non-ESPN TV coverage would want us on the network at night regardless of opponent...

I hope not.
Although, there are some advantages to the late start.

I understand from a $$ standpoint, but it’s frustrating from a young family standpoint. This was a perfect game to bring my young kids (who are under 6) to spend a great day at Clemson. I usually bring them to one game a year. I planned to take them this week months in advance. Raycom would have had this game at Noon. With a 7:30 start, they have to stay home and may not make a game this year. Guess it’s the price of success and yes, it’s minor in the big picture.
Saying prayers that Wofford is not a 7:30 start either.

I concur. The younger kids just do not have the energy for a night game... and worse, I don't have the energy on Sunday when the kids get up at 5:30am. The ONLY time I have been pumped for a pre-6am wakeup after a game that goes late were in January of '17 & '19
Breakfast and a win is always a lot easier at noon. I have a 4yo and younger. Those nooner games made it a lot easier last year. At least with a 3:30 game, he sleeps in the car on the way home.
7:30 is the bedtime for my youngest and even the 4yo was basically trying to sleep by 8:45 for the 'Cuse game on TV.

I think I heard scientists are developing some strong theories as to why this occurs.

I agree with you but for a little different reason. We are at the pinnacle of CFB so, it really doesn’t matter what time or which network play. We get the benefit of exposure regardless. 12 noon or 3:30 games are more fan friendly, you can arrive set up your tailgate and for a noon game, continue the celebration after the game and still be home at a decent hour. The same for a 3:30 game, plus without the anxiety of having to wait until 7:30 or 8pm, you can enjoy the entire slate of games knowing the outcome of our game. I realize others my disagree and that’s fine because I know our likes and dislikes don’t really mean much in the final analysis.

I like night games, I hate it for those with kids though.

Agreed – nothing beats the magic and energy of a night game, and nothing beats the convenience of a noon game, assuming it’s not 120° outside.

I think so. The BIGS aren’t going to select our game against Wofford but the ACC shows 3 additional games that wouldn’t have been televised before the launch.
I’m not sure we’ll see a 1:00 start again. Do we need to rotate the Paw ? LOL

game as a blessing. I'll take a night game any day to sitting in the Death Valley bowl of fire during early afternoon games in September and early October.

of course, why would they do anything else? You make a bad game better for TV by putting it at night in prime time.
