would be WDE, I could see the move over to SDE and letting Yeargin work. If we lose another DE we might be in a bad spot. But I do like that Jabril has moved to DE to help with depth and we still have Register. Also I believe X. Kelly will play a lot this season and get better as the season progresses.
If we played Auburn today...I think Wilkins would be SDE and Ferrell would be WDE but luckily we don't play today.

He is not.
Fortunately Wilkins cross-trained at DE. Hopefully it's the 4-6-week variety so we could get Bryant back by midseason, but we're officially now down to just 4 game-ready ends...Ferrell/Yeargin/Register/Kelly. Kelly wasn't likely to redshirt anyhow, now, zero chance.
Expect Yeargin to slide in as starter, with Yeargin/Wilkins getting the bulk of the snaps the first few weeks.
Guess we'll see if Register is ready to contribute behind Ferrell as well.
