What positions would some of y'all prefer?
5 on offense and 5 on defense. My preference would be
3 OL
1 RB
1 QB
2 DL
1 LB
2 DB
The receivers and tight ends should be really strong again next year . No additional players should be needed there.

Presumably one wins the job and stays. The other has a choice, but as long as we get a decent starter that seems like a win either way. We dont have a starting QB on our roster right now so the most important thing is to find one.

Definitely 1 QB and at least 2 OL. The rest i agree with the concern at the positions (DL, RB, DB,LB) but I think it depends a great deal on who comes back. Frankly TJ Parker and Peter Woods have no business going pro. One or both probably will but neither should. I'm beginning to feel more comfortable about the RBs.

please tell me you are about Parker and Woods? It was a lack of effort, not talent that has held back their production. Both Played great last night. Parker has been getting doubled teamed and it would appear as though Woods is occupying blockings in Allen's scheme. That kid gets off of blocks in run defense as well as anyone we have had.

I just don't think they've had seasons so far that would lead to high draft picks. It would serve both well to come back next season. Like said though one or both probably will leave.

How are you comfortable with the running backs ? Randall is gone and Davidson will hit the portal for sure . We must go get a big time back to give us a home run threat . Davidson gets only a few carries per game and is a goner .

There needs to be more than 10. There should be a serious effort to upgrade the entire roster anywhere they can. Every position needs an infusion of talent with QB being obviously at the top. Every position on defense needs help. I really believe if coach hits it hard, and makes the right staff changes, they can be good immediately.
This offseason will determine where the program is headed the rest of Dabo’s time here. Or at least the next 3-5 years. I can’t imagine going forward as is with no changes.

When you lose 10 then you need 10. It’s not something that’s used to create an “infusion of talent” and in fact you may end up having less talent after losing 10 to sign 10. If we hit on a couple that’d be great, but the portal isn’t used to overhaul your roster unless you lose your roster.
Maybe one day folks willl understand the reality of the portal. It doesn’t magically make your team better.

TP needs, all rising SRs except for DE position, for which rising JRs are preferable.
1 QB (a genuine starter candidate, not one of those ‘coach-on-the-bench’ types that are not good enough to actually play)
1 OL (center)
1 RB (a real starter candidate, not just a roster spot occupier)
1 punter
2 DEs
1 DT
2 CBs
1 Safety
Maybe a LB, but only if he’s an unquestioned stud (like LSU’s Perkins or Pitt’s Louis)

Maybe a LB? We have 1 true LB and are the least talented LB room in the ACC man. Also we have no help coming from the recruiting class at all for the LB room

We need a QB badly unless denson is going to be the real deal but we don’t have any signs of that so that’s not promising. I feel like if we don’t get a qb I think wesco and Moore are hitting the portal because they’re not catching passes from vizzina.

This tiger team reminds me of the 2024 LSU team. The 2024 LSU team was solid and a little above average. During the off season they utilized the portal in an effective manner to make their team much better. Clemson could look like LSU next year if Dabo would use the portal to just fill needed areas.
