Why wasn't Cain recruited as a QB?

Just curious, I'm REALLY glad he's a WR for WRU, but I am just curious why he wasn't recruited as a QB.

What does that have to do with his question? Why would his one NCAA pass have anything to do with is recruitment out of high school?

He probably knew it was an easier path to PT and the NFL to convert. He is such an incredible athlete and wanted to maximize his NFL potential.

He was recruited as a QB by triple option teams. He's not a true QB

Needs to work on passing mechanics, but this guy is Woodrow Dantzler with more height and speed. He is Cam Netwon with more athletic ability. The sky is limit for this kid. You've heard about the freak his cousin Martvis Bryant is, so much so the Steelers nicknamed him the Alien ! He has all that ability with the work ethic, not to mention he is a good student that is humble. I am so excited about KB

I agree, but only when he gets a handle on his emotions, lord he reminds me of a football player on those vibrating metal football fields from long ago. Once he slows down a touch he might be able to read the defense!

Besides. There are always plays where he could take a direct snap, make a pitch, or toss a screen.

Lsu offered him as a QB. But probably knew WR was his ticket to the league.

Because he has much more upside as a receiver at this level. Have you watched him play? Ball hawking skills in his first year at receiver, no less at the highest level of CFB

Mathematically I guess anybody has a better chance at playing when your a WR, there's only one QB on the field buy numerous WR's at the same time.

I feel sorry for KB and TI when ZC gets on campus. They are going to have a fit with that kid. ZC has that DW4 style to play. Kid will be a STUD!

Because when he camped at Clemson as a jr, our coaches saw he had raw potential as an athlete but did not like him as a qb.

He got beat out for the starting QB position on his 7v7 team so he had to play WR. He consistently burned everyone and people took notice very quickly and it was obvious he was a elite WR prospect. That was why he was so highly rated at WR without ever taking an ingame snap at WR.

Florida and LSU both really wanted him as a QB. As you may have noticed this season, great (or even mediocre) QB play isn't necessary for an SEC team to be considered one of the nation's best.

were a drop back passing team like them (or at least the way Spurrier wanted them to be) we wouldn't recruit guys like Nunez as a QB. If we had recruited Nunez he would also have come as a WR. Forcing square pegs in round holes doesn't work.
