Why is Washington the underdog?

Makes no sense to me but I'll gladly take the money line.
Michigan struggled mightily in the second half on both sides of the ball.
If they had trouble with Milroe you've got to think Penix Jr. will have a field day.

I was thinking the same. They play better as underdogs.

Of course they had just come out of the second TO, so surely no signals were needed there.

They should be. I put 1k on Michigan this morning at -4.5. I feel like it's one of the best bets I have ever placed. I don't see Washington having much of a chance. Its a mismatch.

That’s a silly take imo. I’ll take Penix and those receivers over Mcarthy anyday

You will learn. Penix wont have much time and Michigan will run all day taking the clock. Penix might not even finish the game

Michigan will dominate Washington in the trenches. I hate it, but I see it happening.

Best QB and OL is on Washington. Might be a better game than people think.

It wont be. Penix is great, but his OL will have troubles and Washington D is hopeless.

If their entire offense is healthy for the game

Good luck slowing them down, that all you can hope for.
Nations best Off Line, Best QB along with the best collection of WR's.
Of course, you know Michigan has been studying tape (ahem, stealing signs) on them for 2 years now.

The Big 10 hasn't fared well this bowl season. Iowa won the West but got smoked by Tennessee. Penn St. has the number 2 defense statistically but couldn't stop Ole Miss. Wisconsin and Ohio St. lost.
Michigan defense isn't as good as people think. Alabama pushed them around a little bit in the 2nd half.
