Because they know we won't respond to their offers or we won't do what it takes to keep them. That may change down the road, but not yet.

Which does beg another question. Will we ever respond in kind and go after anyone else's? We did steal a QB from Coastal so maybe we are starting to get the message that this is how the new game has to be played. We are just coming to the conclusion, later than others, who are playing the game very well and using all the resources and changes to their advantage.

Because we put in the legwork to find good quality and high character prospects. Everyone knows we don’t play the bid game, so we do the work and they pick the ones they want/need.

Agree. Our leadership lives in a fantasy world if they think most kids will choose Clemsons “culture” over immediate benefits. It’s a wonderful and admirable thought and I think Dabo is doing amazing things to help these young mens futures, but they aren’t living in reality. Most are going to take the money and that does not make them BAD people.

NIL to bring in kids only to keep them. As good as Clemson is and I think it’s a top 10 type of school a lot of kids would want if it’s apples to apples but when it’s a couple hundred K to go to 1 of any 30. Schools in the country, why would you not start your life off like that? Ga Tech, Ole Miss, Va Tech? Louisville, or whatever (not even saying the great places) is not 300k-400k worse than going to Clemson.

In recruiting we know the landscape and hear what others are doing. If we can't or don't respond we deserve what we get. I don't believe Clemson doesnt have enough money and support to do what they need to do

I don't know if we have everything we need but I know we know how to get it. Dabo was able to get everything he needed to upgrade our facilities and make us the envy of most everyone else. We just need to apply the same strategy to funding players like we funded facilities.
It hurts me to even type this, but to get back to elite, this is where we have to go.

If you’ll notice we will offer then other schools will make an offer. Then their star rankings go up then their nil offers increase. Wash rinse repeat. As much as you/yall criticize Dabo he knows how to evaluate talent

Rival recruiter know that Dabo will not adapt to the pay for play game. So why not target our class if the head man is just rolling over.

We don"t lose a lot of our first & second team players to the portal. Somebody must be getting paid. How much. Don't know but must be competeive.
