But Musk said the engineer claimed that FEMA is "actively blocking shipments and seizing goods and services locally and locking them away to state they are their own. It’s very real and scary how much they have taken control to stop people helping. We are blocked now on the shipments of new starlinks coming in until we get an escort from the fire dept. but that may not be enough."

That the govt p, via FEMA, persists with their primary objectives of attempting to censor information that reflects terribly and that the govt remains shameless with their ongoing efforts to resist efforts by private entities to provide aid to those NC sufferers that FEMA won’t help is not indicative of simple incompetence.

I just talked to the guys at Greenville aviation. They haven’t been shut down from flying out of Greenville downtown.
The helicopters are sitting on the 10-28 runway. This is a runway that is very rarely used and only if wind conditions make it necessary.
FEMA hasn’t shut down the supply chain going to nc from Greenville.

private AND government assistance is coming in and is all appreciated. I've seen several firsthand stories about politics being forgotten there as everyone works to help.
But then you have trolls who try to take a disaster like this and skew it toward their politics. They get on here or Twitter or tiktok and spew their hate-filled bile like kids having a temper tantrum... and it's all based on assumptions and second hand, inaccurate, "Well I heard..." statements that help NO ONE.
