Why I Believe We Will Win This Series

As I immediately deleted the recording after our last out, this is totally from memory - and I did sleep since watching the game….

However, as ‘poorly’ as I (‘we’? ‘some’?) thought out guys performed at the plate, we still scored 7 runs. Okay, 3 were on wild pitches/passed balls and a walk, but you still got to get to third base for that. Added to that was one ABSOLUTELY HORRID inning. Aided by a bad Purify throw to the plate (one more out, one less run), a bobbled ball by Cam (one less run), and even one could consider by not pitching to Caglione with two on, may have saved a run or two.

So one or two more hits by us; one or two defensive plays by us, and WE WIN by three runs.

So, this team CAN come back to win two games. This Tiger BELIEVES they will come back to win it. Therefore, I say:

GO TIGERS!!!!

PS: Don’t bother to call me a complete idiot…. I already heard that. Yes, probably true, but with our cardiac cats, it ain’t over til it’s over.

I hope they can. UF’s best bullpen arm threw a significant amount of pitches in relief and we couldn’t touch him.

Today they start Caglione who is basically college Ohtani and will be in the big leagues in no time. Hoping he’s wild but when he’s on he’s no joke. If we can get him out of the game(the earlier the better) we have a shot.

If we walk a bunch or make errors like yesterday we are toast.

My coworker is a huge Florida fan. He said Jack was lights out pitching last year. This year he has been very inconsistent. He has 4 losses so he is beatable. Hopefully the environment can help get to him. We need Knaak to throw a gem today!

We had a chance to put the game a way early; however we could not deliver the hit when we needed it. Today is another day. The game ain't been played yet so we have as much of a chance to win as the water lizards.

Gut it out and make it happen. Go Tigers!

And we saved our best pitcher for today.

Florida is not unbeatable. They have a great team but they did go about .500 for a reason on the season.

Win today, and I think it's ours to lose.

I agree if the clutch hitting comes back. AK can be trusted (if anyone can) to deliver for game 2 and both teams will be so deep in their pitching depth for a game 3 I’d consider pitching a wash. Gotta swing the bat.

We are playing a team that’s had a lot of recent experience in these situations. They have us there. But we play a lot better under pressure for some reason. A positive for us is we manufactured runs in more innings than they did. We gave them that 1 huge inning.
