Why does Ruke not get the love the others do?

With the discussions about Bresee and him missing so much with injury yet is still expected to be a very high draft pick, I wondered why Ruke does not get the attention. Bresee had a great freshman year;
23 total tackles, 13 solo and 4 sacks. That's huge but his only healthy year. Last year he had 13,6 and 1.5 and this year so far 8,4, and .5. Again - last year and this he was not available due to injury.
Ruke's best year was last year; 36, 11 and 2.5. This year he has gone 12, 6 and 2.
Tyler Davis's freshman year was his best; 44, 21 and 5.5. Monster year!! Last year he went 23, 8 and 2.5 and this year so far he is 10,5 and 2.
So...why does Ruke miss out on all the discussion highest quality DT's? I am assuming maybe Bresee and Davis get doubled more which brings there numbers down? I don't know the total snap counts for the above stats.....i.e. during the full years how many plays were they each in on to generate the number s they did. Just curious about how little we talk about Ruke and what he is doing.

Defensive tackle may be the most "stats don't tell the story" position on the football field.
I would equate it with offensive linemen in the fact that you have to know about what they are being asked to do in a particular scheme to really understand how good they are.
Also as you mentioned, it is also the position that most often gets blocked by 2 OL which means their impact goes on somebody else's stat sheet.
In saying all of that, draft projections are rarely about stats for any defensive player. They are more about overall athleticism and projection to the next level.
Draft projections are also frequently wrong and people who get little attention in early projections end up shooting up draft boards and early round projections drop from everyone's list.

SPEAKING OF AJOU, he has 2 catches this season...... would have most likely had more had he stayed put and perfected his trade

My take is college performance and statistics mean something but not a lot to the NFL. As one example, UGA defensive captain Nakobe Dean led UGA in tackles in 2020 and co-led in 2021 (143 tackles). He was also rated top high school LB in 2018, Gatorade POY and Butkus winner as top h.s. and college LB. Dean had a pec tear and was drafted 83rd. Travon Walker had 50 tackles over 2020-21 and went NFL #1.
Another example is the Power Rangers and the 2019 draft. Most Clemson fans including me could have told Mayock, Gruden and the Raiders that CW42 and Big Dex were much better players than the Missile. Now a few years later, Christian and Dex are team captains, and Clelin is a backup and a bust.
It's all how one NFL team perceives your development potential ... and we know NFL teams and experts often get it wrong. But to your point, Ruke has performed and looks like a diamond in the rough.

"Expert" sports media guys who project NFL players from CFB players take shortcuts.
They include HS recruiting rankings, and also College Conference pre-season all star lists when culling down their 'first round pick' guesses.
Ruke was unknown in HS, therefore he has been known for a shorter overall period of time than guys like Bresee.

Kinda like DJ Reader. I think our D line is just so stacked
there's not enough love to go around. The truth is , if you're talented
enough to get in the rotation on our D line you have a shot at the next level
