USC has to go into the valley and deal with heisman candidate Cade Klubnik, 1000 yard rusher Phil mafah, and a defense who was definitely doing some running this week. South Carolina doesn’t have a defense that can handle Cade, Phil, Antonio, and deep threat wesco they don’t have the passing game to beat our D, they are gonna have to beat us on the ground which they probably will run all over us but if Wes wakes up and teaches them how to stay and defend their gap we will win. It’s as simple as that.

I still use UofSC. It de-stinquishes them (nothing distinguished about them) from the Real USC and the Real Carolina.

I think we stop the run. We may give up a big play or 2 in the passing game, but I think Wes will make them do it consistently all game, and they can't do it enough to keep up with us.

Carolina is simply playing better and with a LOT more aggression than us. Klubnick is NOT a Heisman candidate yet. Their wins are a lot more solid than ours and their running backs are gonna run through us in the fourth quarter, I hate to say.
Don’t see us prevailing this year, but at least we don’t have DJ at quarterback to totally wreck things.

Their wins are Akron, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Old Dominion (by 4 points), Texas A&M, Vandy and Wofford.
None of those teams stand out to me as great teams. The A&M win was good for them, but A&M also just lost to a bad Auburn team.
Our wins aren't great either, just trying to keep things in perspective here.

with our weaknesses.
1) We've struggled against the run pretty much all year. SC probably has the best rushing attack of anyone we will have played.
2) We've had a difficult time protecting Cade recently against better front 7s and SC has the DEs to do that to us. A good performance from the OL is absolutely crucial. I think we need to score 30+ to win, and we won't do that if Cade is getting harassed all night.
3) Our special teams vs "Beamer ball. Ugh. That's probably all we hear about from the announcers if they block another kick against us and its going to be disgusting.

Goodwin worked under Venables. If Goodwin will study how Venables schemed his defense against South Carolina and Alabama the defense could have success. Carolina could not move the ball against OK. Just study the film thoroughly.

We had an incompetent rere at qb aka dj turntheballova who along with the refs single-handedly sold the game in the second half
New additions for this years game against usuck university starting cade, starting Phil, Tj Moore, wesco, a revamped secondary a Clemson team with a chip on their shoulder, South Carolina has gotten worse on the offensive side of the ball and only improved their d line statistically, and literally we are the better team we even have our own dumb🍑 fans saying we’re gonna lose so if you ask me if you don’t see a mad Clemson team take that field and win by two scores we have a serious motivation and coaching problem. Not a problem with dabo but a problem with our OC and DC

You try to make it simple, but it’s really not so.
Football is a complicated game and transitive logic doesn’t often apply. SC is also battle tested, successful over the past sevalnmonths, and still smarting from last year’s loss. Mental attitudes and games will be important.
And despite the effort site-wide to denigrate defensive coaching, it would appear coaches are doing their best with a group where half are in the infirmary.
Isn’t it possible that you could offer opinions without lobbing insults?

I didn’t insult anybody I said my opinion and people started insulting me you should probably read it. But here’s an opinion we are unhealthy but still have the odds in our favor with home field advantage and all of our weapon on offense and a lockdown secondary. Here’s a fact people on here decide that if someone post an opinion they don’t like they are gonna call em a coot.
