Why cant the ACC rotate ACC baseball

Championship sites? One year in Charlotte, Greenville, Durham, Tallhassee etc…
Thought it used to be off Mauldin road in Greenville no??

place would pack out. ACC said it gave Clemson too much advantage and moved it. Guess where.

it out of Greenville, but the ACC was MORE THAN HAPPY TO OBLIGE. I may be wrong, but before it came to Greenville I think attendance was about 4k to 5k....In Greenville it surpassed 40K. Maybe someone else can confirm...

You are right. It was unattended at Durham and Chapel Hill. Attendance blew up when it came to Greenville, but FSU cried that it was unfair.

There will be no more ACC Championship Tournaments in South Carolina or north Florida.

The average attendance of the ACC Baseball Tournament while hosted in Greenville was about 40,000.

It was in Mauldin. I was working for the Greenville Chamber of Commerce at the time and we put in the bid with the ACC to bring the baseball tournament to Greenville. Local hotels donated rooms to the teams and the tournament was a huge success. It crushed attendance records for an ACC baseball tournament. Despite putting in an even stronger bid when the contract was up, Durham and their local minor league affiliate get the tournament back. At that time the Greenville Braves (AA affiliate of Atlanta) played there in the Mauldin Stadium.
