The team did much better than I and most people thought we would tonight. We clearly have one of the best qbs in the country next year and if aw0 comes back we're gonna have a top 5 offense in the country next year and other than a few moments I thought gr was pretty great tonight. Obviously goodwin needs to be left in Texas but with Dabo's clear willingness to get better by any means now and all that new rev share money coming in we should be set. Get us a new DC and fill the wholes in the roster through the portal. Honestly pretty excited for the future

I am definitely not mad....Anyone who watched us this season and thought we were going to stroll into Austin and whip Texas is a fool. Could we beat them? It's possible on our best day and their worst but the outcome we witnessed was by far the most probable

That's not an answer. You are picking out one play. The problem is we couldn't stop the run. Explain to me what adjustment you make when your front 7 gets pushed off the ball and can't fight off blocks. Give me a specific answer.

Well they should've brought the safties down and had them crash the edge since our ends kept getting reached and made ewers try and throw downfield

It's not common cause you're likely to get beat deep but their tackles and tight ends were just washing our ends down or pushing them out so having a safety set the edge so the linebackers can worry about filling inside so the don't get blocked trying to cross the line

Lack of defensive adjustments? Our DBs can’t tackle, Barret Carter overruns every thing, Cade Dennhoff brings nothing to the table.No adjustments to make, we need to fix our problems and personnel and we should be fine next year,

Would also help NOT to have our top running back injured for most of the season. THAT really hurt our mostly one dimensional offense significantly.

Not so much mad at the result as I am the defense letting Cade down as bad as they did.
What Cade needed to do for us to win, he did, and the defense couldn’t bow their back when he needed them to.

Not happy with the defense but definitely encouraged by the fight the team showed.
Hopefully some adjustments are made on the defensive staff, preferably the DC.
Excited for next year.

Dumb ### Wes and his inability to make any kind of in game adjustments. #### it wouldn't matter if we had Tom Brady, Randy Moss, Jerry Rice, LaDanian Tomlimson. They couldn't be successful with the product our DC puts on the field week after week. I really wish Alabama would have throttled Oklahoma. That would have almost assured BV was out of a job.

I’m fairly certain “tired of” means there is no energy put into it. Unless you’re saying to just not care at all. Typically that is not what fanatics do. Matter of fact, him being a fanatic and clearly saying he’s not mad is the lowest amount of energy he could put in.

First, the Vegas spread was perfectly in line with our loss, so we did about as well as most people expected (I don't want to hear anyone say we left points on the field because so did they, especially the dropped pass on 4th and 2). Most people on this site predicted a win for Clemson, obviously. So a 14 point loss would be disappointing to them. I personally said I thought that if our defense ran a 4-3 and were aggressive in getting after Ewers, and our offense let Cade do his thing, I thought we could win, but if not, we'd lose by about 15 (I think I predicted 31-16, because I thought we'd end up settling for FGs on some drives). So your premise is wrong.
That said, I don't think it's unreasonable for people to be angry after seeing that we easily COULD have won this game. Riley and Klubnik did all they needed to do to win, without a viable running game. If you get crushed by a better team, there's not much to be angry about. Rewind back to LSU in 2019. We weren't as good as they were, and so people were disappointed, but not angry about the outcome. Tonight, we were every bit as good as they were, but we lost because of a defensive coordinator who refuses to learn a single #### thing. Goodwin didn't do any of the things EVERYONE knew he needed to do to win. We got torched because we did the same thing we've done in every game defensively, even though everyone's been shouting at him at what the defense needs to do to improve (including experts with more experience than him). He didn't do that. That's why people are mad.
We'll see if Dabo is willing to get better by any means. I'm not convinced signing two players who won't compete for a starting spot demonstrates that. But I'll withhold judgment there.

Nobody likes to lose, period! But we’ve had 2 weeks to focus on stopping the run and we completely failed!! 150-200 yards is one thing, nearly 300?? We have some big boys on the D line and some capable LB’s, so I’m laying this at the DC for lack of preparation…. Just my unprofessional opinion!! CADE ARRIVED TONIGHT!! Next year could be VERY SPECIAL. Need a shutdown defense though…..

Texas fan here, I knew Klubnik was going to ball out. Texas kids always go full jihad when they play the Longhorns. Impressed with the Clemson receivers and Tight End. The kid that lined up at RB that normally plays receiver was bad ###. Really physical, reminds me of Deebo Samuel (I know y’all will love that comparison) anyway, good game Clemmy!
