Why are so many afraid of GT

as if beating them will mean we are a top fill in the number program. We have a lot more to lose winning doesn't earn us much.

When your team hasn't beaten an opponent in their stadium since 2003 and you have a negative Thursday night legacy one has to view such a contest quite seriously. Clearly we have better overall talent, however if we are flat, makes stupid errors and have little respect for Ga. Tech we stand a chance of losing. Personally I think the team will be highly motivated to redeem themselves, but Tech isn't going just roll over and surrender.
Go Tigers!

In the past, I've not traveled to ATL for the games. This year I'll be there screaming for our Tigers (just got my IPTAY Away Game Tickets in the mail). So I'll say we have a better shot this year than in the past.

Venables seems to have their number but the heart of our D #10 may not be 100%. We seem to start most all drives inside our own 20 these days so sloppy play, an untimely turnover and poor punting could all mean trouble.
That said, we have the more talented team and should win handily if we play even remotely close to what we are capable of.

promising seasons for Clemson. Our history with them overall, and especially in ATL, has made it one of those games that make Clemson fans nervous.

Let's count the reasons....
Sep 11, 2016, 2:50 PM
|
|
1. Haven't won there since 2003. 2. Clemson/GT games have a history or big underdog upsets in the last 20 years 3. Heart of the D likely hobbling 4. Offense with no signs of life or rhythm. 5. Offense is currently a turnover machine and GT can eat up lots of clock. 6. Secondary is making lots of mistakes.
The D is about where I figured they'd be with all the fresh faces. The O looked like they read press clippings all summer and spent no time practicing. Dropped balls, no one blocks, no WR separation, etc. And Tony Elliott appears to be in quite the sophomore slump.

The stadium sucks and the vendors blow. The old #### officials have been protecting GT since the 30's.We've never got a call and never got a bounce in my lifetime and i'm a man, I'm 40 ish.... DW4 got hurt on their dumbarse turf.Other than that its a fine place.
