They've been rejected as starters by our coaches and they want to show them.

Bottom line is they are Clemson's rejects and no loss to us.

Must be the promise of playing time is all I can imagine. I believe a lot of these players are buddies from travel ball days and get to talking and talk some (Brewer) into playing with them. Just my opinion.

The first guy was a bench warmer and I guess they promised him playing time. The second guy, I don't know but he was promised something. Competition may have driven him away. We have some good players coming in and he probably saw the handwriting on the wall.

They can be just as stupid at cootville as the law allow...nobody cares if they graduate or father 16 children before they ever pass freshman english...if is even offered! English not fathering 101! If all it is about is get paid, smoke a little weed, eat at the training table and get that new Buick deuce and 1/4 then downtown Cootlumbia at the nuggets palace is your best destination!

Never thought about his influence on a few players. Looks like it is a combination of things. If the coots don't do better this season, there will be a lot of transferring.

The coach who recruited them out of HS is on the Coot staff. Tampering??? probably.

In the cases of Hall and Nawrocki, it's almost certainly just about playing time. Hall was never going to be good enough to start at Clemson unless he improves his bat substantially. And with the 4 incoming transfers, Nawrocki has also been pushed out of a starting spot. In this case, I really think it's as simple as that.

Bigumtiger Wild Hogg® Actually not in this case. That was true for the 3 guys who transferred out in 2022: Brewer, French, and Williams. They were all originally recruited by Lee (and played under him at Clemson of course.) But this is different. Nawrocki's from New York, and he was purely a Bakich recruit. EB actually first recruited him while he was still at Michigan and then got him to switch over to Clemson once he took the job. So Nolan wouldn't have had any prior connections to Lee unless there's something we don't know. Now I'm not sure who first recruited Hall, but he is from SC, so that one is easier to understand. He was a true freshman in 2023, Bakich's first year, so I'm guessing he may have been a Lee recruit at one point, though I want to stress that I don't actually know that for certain. As I said above, I think it's simply a matter of playing time for both of them. Hall wasn't going to start regardless, and now that Gaffney, Priest, and Piano have all transferred in, that makes Nawrocki the odd man out in the infield and at DH. So that probably explains his decision to leave. As for why he chose USCjr, it's anybody's guess. Maybe he's friends with Hall? Or maybe he's more familiar with the program now that he's spent some time in the state?

With the Kingston firing, there's probably no better time than now to transfer to the coots if you're a player looking for playing time. It's a rare opportunity to get an easier starting spot on an SEC team (other than the bottom-feeders). They're taking advantage of the fact that usuck's roster quality is probably unusually bad right now because of the coaching change. (Though I must admit, I haven't been keeping up with what's actually happened since then at USCjr with regards to their recruiting or portal activity.) But as we all know, coaching changes almost always result in losses of some players and recruits. So what I'm saying is, it's kind of like a rare value buy. In any other year, a player like Nathan Hall would almost certainly never have a chance to start for the coots. But this coming season because they just had the firing, he might actually have a chance. So it's an opportunity for players to get starting time at a school they're probably not good enough to start at under normal circumstances. In other words, Hall and Nawrocki are taking advantage of usuck's bad spot to get an opportunity they most likely ordinarily wouldn't be good enough to get. Again, I don't actually know any of this, this is just my speculation, but these are probably the most logical reasons when you think about it.
