Now that I can think more clearly, here is the deal:

In the last 2 seasons we have lost 4 games. The #5 and #10 teams on the road. The #6 ( now # 1) and #12 teams at home. Just sucks 2 of those loses was SuCk. We've won every other game, some in blowout fashion, beating 3 ranked SeC teams along the way. That is 21 wins in 2 seasons. Yes, losing to SCAR is unacceptable, but in the grand scheme, we've been pretty darn good! Mixed in there are 2 wins over GT, a hated rival, and first win over UGA in 20+ years, and beatdowns of teams like Wake and BC that Bowden couldn't beat. Things are really not that bad. What sucks is Spurrier is just a better game planner than Dabo, but Spurrier is better than a lot of coaches. He has taken and SEC doormat and turned them into regular in the top ten. That is no small feat, folks.

is it just because tommy didn't do it consistently?????

I'd gladly trade a "BEATDOWN" of wake or Syracuse for a win over South Carolina any day of the week.

give me a loss to UGA and FSU go 10-2 and I'll be fine

these 21 or whatever "beatdowns" of high school teams is something that Tim Bourett and Dabo love to throw at us

What a Clemson team should do is put beatdowns on Wakes and BCs of the world. Bowden was losing to them...that was my point.

But I can think and my analysis tells me Clemson is a good, not great, football team. The improvement is undeniable, it's just unfortunate Spurrier is simply a better coach.
