dont know and dont care. if he doesnt like it he is free to find other schools.

some of what we do is designed to keep from being messed over by kids who arent even really interested. he sounds like one of those

Of course we try to steal commits. That's why other schools

Jun 6, 2012, 9:08 AM

should not allow their commits to visit Clemson.

He is a rep for Isaac McDonald. Apparently Dabo has not dropped the offer for this recruit because he & the rep are taking other visits.

Screw Calford.

Well, then, just what does "commitment' mean, then...

Jun 6, 2012, 9:32 AM

Verbal or otherwise?

Rev, we are looking for definition 1 or 2, but......

Jun 6, 2012, 9:40 AM

this nutty fruitcake fits definition 3.

com·mit·ment/k??mitm?nt/Noun:
1.The act of committing or the state of being committed.
2.Dedication; application
3.a consignment to a penal or mental institution

Agree Rev...if you are not 100% sure that Clemson is where

Jun 6, 2012, 9:48 AM [ in reply to Well, then, just what does "commitment' mean, then... ]

you want to be...then don't commit. If our coaches are going to hold a scholarship for a kid he needs to keep his butt home.

2024 orange level memberbadge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

yep he could have done his camps then committed

Jun 6, 2012, 10:10 AM

I'm sure we explain up front what is expected if you commit. guys like this kid and Lane don't hear or want to hear

badge-donor-05yr.jpgringofhonor-74tiger.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I agree 100%...the whole "commitment" deal is a

Jun 6, 2012, 10:30 AM [ in reply to Agree Rev...if you are not 100% sure that Clemson is where ]

reciprocal arrangement. Clemson has agreed to hold a scholarship open for the kid out of a limited number available and the kid has agreed to take that free education, room and board in return for playing football at Clemson--a privilege in and of itself

IMO, some HS coaches try to use their college prospects as a stepping stone to a better economic situation for themselves---but make no mistake, in this time of rampant oversigning/"roster management" in the SEC, the erosion of ethics and responsibility in the football coaching profession is visible on all levels. And its primarily driven by money as are most things.

After reading all the stuff from this coach, its obvious he has an agenda---he's interjecting himself into this situation far too much....a problem which undoubtedly arises from the coach's influence into the young mans home situation.
