Who makes CFP first, Boise State or Clemson

Malachi Nelson just announced his transfer to Boise State with the goal to trash group of 5 teams and earn the g5 cfp bid. I 100% believe Clemson even this year is a top 12 team if we didn’t turn the ball over so much! Regardless with the auto bid to cfp does anyone see a path for top players to chose g5 teams for an easy run?? I’m from Idaho and grew up cheering for Boise and still do but fell in love with the Clemson program once dabo took over and the culture he cultivated! Sure hope Boise state isn’t the one beating them in just to get blown out!

What and when was the very moment that you knew Clemson was the one for you? Was there a certain game....or are you just all about Dabo?

It was just over the years starting when I was in like middle school. Seeing the way the program is so centered around family and faith. The way they are particular about protecting the culture they have and they won’t give offers out to every 5 star because they want to make sure they are getting people who are not only good at football but who are good grounded people as well. Also my dad played for a high school with the same paw logo so I always looked at the Clemson logo as one I appreciated and I think that was the initial draw in factor. Another thing is my whole life I hated Ohio state lol so seeing Clemson beat them up made it more fun to watch.

How can you say you watched Clemson football this year and believe we were a Top 12 team? There were at least 4 games this year where the offense was as offensive as it has been in many a years. Go back and watch the Wake Forest game and honestly say we were a Top 12 . And make no mistake, I get some years you just ain’t got it. And this was definitely a year where Clemson lacked the players and coaching to compete in the upper half of the ACC

What I’m saying is without the turnovers, we could have won 2 of the games we lost and I think we would have ended up top 12 as a 2 loss team

However, really just comes down to how well the offense gets it together this upcoming year for Clemson and how well some of the young pups on defense do.
- If it all comes together, we're CFP-bound and probably ACC champs.
- If Cade and crew struggle or we take a ridiculous fall on defense, we're probably an 8 or 9 win team again next year.
As for Smurf Turf U, there's certainly a chance they will make it. However, even the dominant Boise State teams had some close calls or losses so I can't say for sure they run the table unless they go out and do it.
Next season is gonna be fun!

....the best Boise can hope for is a tie.
Caveat - If the P2 figure out a way to get 10 of the 12 playoff berths, then neither team may make it.
