This is the most activity there’s been on this board in a long time.

Hopefully, this event gets the players more focused and not more distracted.

This kind of stuff can disrupt focus with just 13 days away from the LSU game.

D U I'S are a very serious matter that can in an instant cost someone their life, and it's usually the person that was cold sober!!! IMO, whatever the penalty is for driving under the influence is exactly what he should receive, no breaks for sports figures or celebrities ever!!!

I have gotten under the wheel when I've had entirely to much to drink and I was lucky, I got home without incident. I can honestly say that I haven't done anything that incredible stupid in over 40 years. Now with what little I do drink like a beer after doing yard work, there isn't a chance that I will ever get under the wheel of a motor vehicle ever again after having to many, and I'm so glad that I've gotten past that stage in my life without costing someone their life bc of my personal ignorance of drinking and driving!!!

You are silly calling out someone for something that you admit doing.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

The lesson: always keep a raw potato underneath the driver's seat...

One bite of the raw potato will nullify the latest breathalyzer devices(intoxlyzer, PBT,BAC)-
EMP for breathalyzer devices= raw potato(IRISH)

No - the lesson here is definitely NOT that you should find ways drive drunk

I would find a raw Irish potato underneath the driver's seat...and you by God know it.
(The level of self-righteous, virtue signaling or guilt revealing projections littered up and down the message board is hilarious)

Technically, that would be old McD's french fries, so they don't count.***

It's only a distraction for fans with nothing else to care about.

I doubt very seriously if anyone on the team actually gives a #### about it. It says a lot about the culture of this program that a dui stop causes such an uproar.

The spotlight shines brighter.

Reminds me of an incident at FSU years ago. Chris Rix was the starting QB. He had a handicapped parking sticker because he would transport an elderly lady to a medical center on a routine basis. Well, one day, he used the handicapped parking hanger when he had no one else in the car with him. Stupid move. Should have been punished. He was. He was ticketed and paid the fine. But, it hit public news. Didn't make national news like Peter Warrick, but it made the news enough that it was the talk of the day with FSU and UF fans for at least a week. He was suspended for a game. FSU fans thought the treatment was outlandishly hard. UF fans thought it was ridiculously easy and were calling for him to be kicked off the team.
