Who is qualified to step up?

I’ve seen lots of noise about why isn’t Dabo making coaching changes mid-season. Ignoring the loyalty thing for just a minute. We’ve had many people formerly inside the program say that Dabo is not and X’s and O’s guy. So, we get rid of anyone under him and he can’t fill that role… who does for the remainder of the season? Who on staff is qualified to step up their role level to plug a hole and finish out the season for us?
I believe the answer is, regardless of which coach you look at, the answer is “no one” and therein underscores the problem.

Neither is Mickey Conn... He's just a coach by nametag.

I already answered that question.
Here's who I would hire to replace the coaches permitted there were a mutual interest.
Offensive Coordinator - Will Stein
QB Coach - Joe Sloan
RB Coach - Frank Wilson
TE Coach - Freddie Kitchens
WR Coach - Brian Hartline
O-Line Coach - RETAIN MATT LUKE
Defensive Coordinator - RETAIN TOM ALLEN
Defensive Line Coach - Jordan Thomas
Linebacker Coach - Brian Jean-Mary
Defensive Backs Coach - Nick Perry

I wasn’t asking who your desired replacements would be. I was asking who that is currently on staff could fulfill a role greater than their current role, even as an interim position to get us through the end of the season.

Allow me to answer your question then. NOT A DAWG GONE COACH... BECAUSE ALL OF THEM HAVE ABOUT 10 MINUTES OF EXPERIENCE AS A COACH!.

How Does Swinney Motivate His Players? “He’s not a huge Xs and Os guy,” Lawrence noted. “Our team meetings would be so long… but honestly, he kept our attention.” The former Clemson star continued, “He would make you believe you could do anything. It didn’t matter who we were playing… like, we’re gonna kill these dudes.”

Dabo has stated several times that he does not fire coaches mid season.

He evaluates and makes changes after the season is over. Looking back this is what he has always done. Luckily, he has never had to fire anyone for legal purposes.
