Who in here went to the Cavallaro in Charleston before it closed?

It was a retro cool place. They served a sit down dinner and had a live band playing (big band sound mixed in with some shagging music) while you ate. They also had a dance floor. Too bad it closed in mid 90’s. It’s where Rick Hendrick Honda is now on Savannah Hwy in west Ashley.

I just remember hearing about it but never went. It was a real supper club. Too rich for me!

Don’t know why so many good places closed in the 90s.

Dont recall that place. I was probably at Desperados looking for a good country chick. That didn't work out, I divorced her after 20mos, but in all fairness, we did date for 4yrs so I thought I was safe?

Anyone remember Myskyn's?

Musicians who performed at Myskyn's include Joan Jett, The Ramones, The Band, Hootie & the Blowfish, etc.

ahead of me seemed to like it. When Hendrick bought it they were required to keep the facade but I think even that has changed now.

It was a great place to go and enjoy good food, good music and good friends! Would be nice to have something like that again!
